In this session, you will learn about how self-care and compassion are essential to successfully managing complex situations and navigating change. In the uncertain world we have been living in since the global covid pandemic, managing complexity and change has been increasingly important. This session will draw on acceptance and commitment theory to show how self-care, compassion and acceptance can buffer the negative impact of uncertainty and change. This is not only important for our clients, but also for us as practitioners. The session will provide techniques that can be used by practitioners for themselves and with their clients.
